mamatáy: Dear passerby,閱讀文章的網站,恐怕不容易推薦,畢竟每個人的品味、嗜好、程度都不同。我個人會上 The New York Times, BBC, CNN 這類新聞網站看新聞,TIME, The Economist 網站也不錯。但是比較正式的閱讀還是以書本為主。初學者可以參考 VOA Special English,或 BBC Worldservice Learning English,其他更多網路資源並不難找。Merriam-Webster 的確在這個月推出了 Collegiate Thesaurus, 2nd edoitin,依照前一版的編輯格式,應該還是採用 alphabetical arrangement 的方式,這與 Random House, Collins, Roget’s II 等,格式接近。Oxford 出版的 thesaurus 有好多本,大小不一,不過 Oxford 採用的應該也類似 MW。Thesaurus 向來不是學習上的主要查詢工具,要分出優劣,我個人覺得意義不大。這類型工具書,我也沒有絕對的使用忠誠度。須要使用時,大概是每本都瀏覽一下吧。
